Just a humble grad student's journey through life's trenches. This is my story of how to deal with a family torn apart by alcohol, and the pressures of young adulthood. I try to do these two things all while keeping my heart and mind fixed on the cross.

Mind the Gap!
'Ello from London! Wow, so I am sitting on a park bench on a street corner bumming internet off the cafe across the street bc it is so damn expensive! London is absolutely incredible. I could definitely see myself living here. We have been to see it all: London Tower, Westminister Abby, House of Parliament, Buckigham Palace, St. James Palace, White Hall, Leicester Square, Oxford Street, Picadilly Circus, etc! Its been wonderful. Our tour guide's name is David and he is a crazy-ass Brit. He is funny as hell though. We have been on the double decker buses and "underground" aka the metro. And we heard the famous "Mind the gap!" We went to King's Cross Station and took pictures at platform 9 3/4! Woo!! Last night a group of us went to Paris. It was so sketch the first hour there. We stayed in the sex district, so we were right down the street from Moulin Rouge. We went to the Arc, the Louvre, the Effiel Tower (at midnight). It was so beautiful! We ate baguettes and cheese with bottles of wine on the Seine river last night as well. I will def expand this blog asap, but my battery is about to die so I am going to run. Look for updates sometime after tuesday when I get to Brussles and the internet is cheaper. Love and miss you all!
