Just a humble grad student's journey through life's trenches. This is my story of how to deal with a family torn apart by alcohol, and the pressures of young adulthood. I try to do these two things all while keeping my heart and mind fixed on the cross.

Eurotrip Continues
So in re-reading my blog entries, I realized that I forgot to tell you all about the wonderful little town of Delft that we visited on the way to Holland. Delft is known for its blue and white porcelain. We got to go to the little house that they make it in, and it was so cool! They showed us all of the different stages that the clay goes through and how each piece is handpainted several times. Its nuts. So if you are one of those people who collect the blue and white porcelain, check the bottom and see if it says "Delft". Well, we had our first full day in Hannover today. What a freaking bore. Carmen, Julie, Casey, and I all went shopping and all I bought was a belt and Julie bought a shirt for her sister. The shopping here sucks therefore this town sucks haha. No, its a cute little town with a really beautiful garden, there just really isn't that much to do here. Tomorrow we are going to the town of Celle for a bit and then on Wednesday we are going to the coastal town of Hamburg and Kevin Lee Barche is picking me up and showing me how locals do Hamburg. I am so excited! I haven't seen Kevin since I was a senior in high school! Its going to be a lot of fun. Sadly, thats about all of the news I have for right now. My sincerest apologies to those who have said that my blog serves as their humor for the day- this was clearly not a humorous entry. I will make up for it though, fear not. I'm sure Berlin will bring great things. If it makes you feel better, Katie just stuck her head out our hotel room window and a bat almost flew into her face. I thought this was funny- she will kill me for writing that, but oh well. =) She still loves me.
