20 page paper- you are my gerbil!

Hells yeah- 8 hours in the library and I come out with one kickin 20 page research paper. I am quite proud of it! So since I finished that I am pretty much done with school except for finals. Yeah! Oh my gosh, I am half way through college. Wow that is scary.... I still feel like I graduated from high school yesterday.

So, thankfully things in my life are improving. I am starting a committee in my sorority called L.Y.R.E. which stands for Living Your Ritual Everyday. How convenient is it that our symbol, the lyre, totally fits the acronym? This committee will focus on improving the image of Alpha Chi, as well as bringing to light all of the wonderful, amazing things the sisters do. This should be a lot of fun, and I have a good group of sisters willing to help, so I am pretty excited.

I was also asked to be a TA next semester for one of the hardest professors on campus so this is a big honor. I will be teaching an unfortunate class of freshmen political science students. BWAHAHA. No, I will be nice, I promise. A good TA makes all the difference so I am going to do my best to help them out.

I am realizing more and more who my true friends are. I finally got to talk to babs on skype today which was amaing. I miss hanging out with her. I've always found that her self confidence helps me to be more confident in myself. Her laugh is contageous, and aften times we find the same things amusing. So as it turns out I have had the best friends I could ever ask for all along. And in fact, I couldn't be happier that I have realized this and that I get to spend time with them again.

Ok so seriously, I am concerned for the future of our country. The lack of common sense in my generation alone is appaling. I was walking into a building today and I walked up the stairs, and opened the door on the right. Before I could enter the building some girl rushed through the door I had opened instead of opening the door on her right. Like I had opened the door for her? You would not believe how many people do this! It happens at least once a day. Oh my gosh did your parents ever teach you manners? I have a list going of the things that happen in society that baffle me. I'll write it later because the Newlywed Game is on and I find this game amusing.

Thats all for now. Life is good. God is great. I love you all!
