Welcome back Tiger fans. Football season is finally here! Thank God. I seriously feel depressed when its not football season. To me the perfect Sunday afternoon is spent in bed with a good football game on. I guess this is one reason why I fit more with guys than girls...like really, I normally hang out with guys more than I do my own gender. I like dressing up and getting my hair done and all that jazz, but put football on and I am 100% in sweats and in front of the tv. Go Tigers! Or for my nfl fans- Go Panthers! Do something this season....please....really just beat the bucs and I will be ecstatic.
Well so ever since school started I haven't updated the blog, so I guess I should. School is going well. I am infinitely happier this year than I was last year. Part of this is because I have an awesome roommate- shout out Cathryn!- and not roommates who make me feel like shit. I'm loving living on the sorority hall. There is always someone to talk to, something going on, or at the very least a big flat screen with comfy couches in the chapter room. We are spoiled big time. Speaking of sorority; our new pledge class this year rocks. Total hotties I might add....They are such an awesome group of girls!
My birthday was in the end of August and it was probably the best yet. Cathryn decorated the room- there were balloons over every inch of our floor. It was rush blowout so I finally got to go out, and when I did everyone seemed to remember that it was my birthday despite being intoxicated. I don't think I have ever gotten so many drunk hugs in my life, but I loved every minute of it. I got the wii resort game- and my parents finally brought the wii up this weekend, so hooray for not getting any work done!
This dance team is amazing. I fell like myself again. It was a long and dark two years without dance. I am so glad I am doing it again. My body is grateful too. =) The band is awesome- I haven't met one person that I don't like. Not to mention, they are hilarious! I think I spend half of practice just laughing at people. I wish I had signed up for this right at the start of college.
In regards to the study abroad, as fate would have it, a spring study abroad does not work for me. I do plan to go this summer if I don't get a job for the mayor of charleston (hopefully my former coach! fingers crossed!) Ah networking, how I love thee! With no study abroad, I can't do the Spanish major, so it looks like it is getting knocked back down to a minor. Que triste. Oh well- no better way to waste life than reflecting on what could have happened right?
I am so excited for this year! I hope that all of the wonderful things that have happened are a sign of things to come. I have decided at this very moment that I want to go hiking- so if you want to join me on this sporadic hike, let me know. We will take a hike. Hahaha. Get it get it? Wow, I'm lame- sue me. Or don't, your perrogative. Ok, I have successfully procrastinated on homework for over 3 hours. Damn, I should have gone to the library. ADHD= story of my life. That's all from me tonight. I'm off to read about European Integration and eat some cheese cubes. Yum-o cheese.....maybe I'll skip the European intergration part and just go straight for the cheese. Who knows. Goodnight all!
i hope you went straight for the cheese =]
ReplyDeletealso...YOU HAVE A WII?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
